Today, Family Service League continues the work of our founders through outstanding programs and services that transform the lives of families and individuals.

Our services are specifically designed to assist families and individuals who could not otherwise access the help they need. More than 99% of our counseling clients qualify and pay reduced rates based on their household income and size. Many of our services are offered to the community at no cost, including all of the services of SAVE of Essex County. We never deny anyone service due to financial issues.

Family Service League is a licensed charitable non-profit 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization that is funded by the State of New Jersey, County of Essex, and contributions from individuals, foundations, organizations, and corporations.

We rely on our members and friends to support us with financial support, goods, and services.

Planned Giving

Gifts in Honor or Memory

A donation to Family Service League can be a meaningful gift on a birthday or holiday. It can also be an appropriate tribute to a special friend or family member. Simply select Tribute Information on our online donation form. We will send a card to that individual (or their survivors) informing them of your thoughtful gift.

Matching Gifts

Take advantage of your employer's matching gift program to increase the value of your donation. Simply obtain a matching gift form from your company's human resources department, complete your portion, and send the information to us.
