In an effort to extend our reach into the local community, FSL/SAVE of Essex County collected food for MEND (Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity), an Essex County based non-profit that hosts 20 member food pantries throughout the county.

FSL has been awarded new grants from the Community Development Block by the County of Essex and Township of Bloomfield, The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, and the Investors Foundation.

Our Volunteer Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate, Pamela Johnson, was selected as one of this year's September Celebration of Champions' Honorees by the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
