Sexual Violence 101 with Shani Baraka Women’s Center

FSL's SAVE conducted a Sexual Violence 101 training on 09/26/25 with the Shani Baraka Women’s Center for staff and community members. The session provided an overview of the dynamics of sexual violence, including its impact on survivors and the community.

Participants learned about recognizing signs of abuse, appropriate intervention strategies, and available resources for support and prevention. The training also emphasized the importance of creating safe, inclusive environments and fostering open dialogue to combat stigma and promote healing.
