Family Service League is delighted to announce new grants to support the Essex County Rape Care Center from the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, the Jewish Women's Foundation of New Jersey, and the State of New Jersey. New support for the counseling program has been provided by the Community Development Block Grant Program and the Junior League of Montclair-Newark and Family Service League's exciting new Mentor program is supported by a grant from Roche.

Wally Weikert

Director, Clinical Program

Mr. Weikert received his Master of Social Work from Columbia University and began his career at Family Service League in 1975. He is licensed in the State of New Jersey as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He has received post-graduate training at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, Salvador Minuchin’s Family Studies, Inc., and at dozens of workshops and conferences. In addition to leading the Clinical Program, Mr. Weikert founded and oversees the Clinical Fellows Program, recognized as one of the foremost training placements for family therapists in the New York metropolitan area.
