Family Day Nursery School operations year-round, five days a week, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The School will be closed on the following holidays:

Daily Schedule
7:30 AM
Center Opens
7:30-8:50 AM
Greeting of children and individualized play supervised by teacher. (Time for working on a one-to-one basis, e.g., learning to cut, to zip, and to tie, etc.)
8:50-9:00 AM
Clean up and attendance. Children set up for breakfast.
9:00-9:20 AM
Breakfast
9:20-9:40 AM
Circle time. (Songs, finger play, pledge of Allegiance, games, small lessons, music, calendar, etc.)
9:40-9:55 AM
Large motor activity. (Movement through records, exercise, games, balance beam, etc.)
9:55-10:00 AM
Story Time
10:00-11:00 AM
Activity period. (All play areas open-art, books, blocks, manipulative, sand and/or water, daily projects, prepared by teacher and children.)
11:00 AM-12:00 PM
Outdoor play
12:00 PM
Lunch
12:20-12:30 PM
Clean up and prepare for rest.
12:30-2:30 PM
Rest time(1:30 -2:30) computer lessons or quiet activities for non sleepers.
2:30 PM
Wake up time.
2:30- 2:40 PM
Clean up cots / snack time.
2:40-3:15 PM
Story time, open questions from the children, express feelings.
3:15-4:30 PM
Circle time and outdoor play.
4:30-5:30 PM
Free play (play porch open dress-up, riding toys, climbing, messy activities such as play-doh, finger painting, or shaving cream).
5:30 PM
Center closes.
